Description:Berry Barley Essence is the combination of Green Magma and the natural flavors of raspberry and strawberry resulting in a delicious, energizing drink powder made from the juice of organically-grown young barley grass and containing active enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, protein, chlorophyll and other important phytonutrients. Researchers at such leading universities as the University of California at Davis and George Washington University have found that barley grass juice contains the potent antioxidants superoxide dismutase, 2-O-glycosylisovitexin (2-O-GIV) and vitamin E succinate. Each of these important phyto-chemicals have been shown to help prevent lipid peroxidation caused by free-radicals. Berry Barley Essence is also loaded with chlorophyll which gives barley and many other vegetables their rich green color.
